The mechanical properties of the weld are good. friction welding is a solid phase connection method. Its welding temperature is low. The weld metal only reaches the plastic state without melting, maintaining the metallurgical properties of the base metal, and there will be no large-scale thermoplastic deformation process and welding defect at the weld during the melting process.

Low cost and high efficiency are achieved through the friction and stirring effect between the stirring head and the welded part, thus achieving the welding of the entire weld seam. During the welding process, there is no need to add other welding materials, such as welding rods, welding wires, welding flux, and shielding gas.

The welding process is safe, pollution-free, smoke-free, and radiation free.

During the welding process, specific welding head fixtures and workpieces must have good support or pads (fixtures).
